FROM HUMBLE ROOTS TO INDUSTRIAL LEADER
It started in 1982. Patrick and Diane O’Shea founded Natural Environmental Reclamation Concepts in Troy, Michigan, with a single truck and a vision: to tackle the sites others couldn't.
They didn't just seed grass; they solved complex ecological puzzles. How do you stabilize a steep slope before rain washes it away? How can wetlands be responsibly restored after construction to preserve the land for future generations?
Today, under the third generation of leadership led by Mark and Ashley Sholtis, that vision has expanded into an industrial powerhouse operating out of Clarklake, MI. Our company has grown in scale and capability, but our core promise remains unchanged: Leaving the land better than we found it.
